The Soul’s Journey Through Time and Eternity
What if we could see life as an ever-unfolding journey rather than a series of beginnings and endings? The sudden passing of my sister in 2023 changed the way I see life, death, and the soul’s journey beyond. Through my images, I want to invite people to face and contemplate their mortality, but most of all, to bring comfort in knowing that death is not an end. This collection of images is a visual meditation on awareness, transformation, and the unseen realms of existence. It is an invitation to pause, reflect, and celebrate the mystical energy that lives within and beyond us. Through art, I seek to create a space for contemplation, where we honor the depth of our being and the beauty of the unknown.

“MIND LIMIT|LESS”
The Mind as a Filter – A Journey Beyond Life and Death
The mind limits or filters our awareness and experience of life. In one’s passing to the spirit side, the mind loses its control, and the spirit and soul are freed. I was honored to have these works exhibited on the first anniversary of my sister’s passing and All Saints’ Day.
In this series, I explore how the transition beyond is an act of liberation.
The Beyond: This piece symbolizes the transition of the spirit from the physical world to the spiritual realm. It is said that the spirit remains "behind the veil" and may continue as a guardian presence for those still in this world.
Boundless Life: This piece explores the continuity of life as the body returns to the natural cycle after death.
The Limit|less Mind: This piece represents how the mind is released from earthly limitations and reaches a state of complete spiritual freedom.
The Concept of Soul in Baltic-Finnic Tradition
In this tradition, death is not an end but a passage—a transition into another realm of existence. When the breath of life fades, the soul receives the gift of eternal journeying. One of the most beautiful explanations of this transition comes from our own Baltic-Finnic heritage. Here, the soul is seen as threefold, each part returning to its origin:
Löyly – The body soul, deeply connected to the physical form and life force, dissolves back into nature’s eternal cycle.
Itse – The ancestral soul, the communal essence, crosses the River of Tuoni to the realm of the ancestors, where it may continue as a guardian spirit for the living.
Henki – The immortal soul, transcending time and space, ascends through the North Star to the vast and sacred realm of Tapiola.
This ancient wisdom reminds us that what we call death is merely a shift—a passage into continuity, where life flows beyond the visible and the soul finds its way home.
